Review of "A Glance at My Other" by Bruce Randal Wilkerson. #thewitchslist #mysterythrillerweek

The story is a new spin on the 'Freaky Friday' concept where someone gets trapped in another person's body. In this case it's an American Jewish boy, Josh, who takes over the body of a Algerian Muslim girl, Neïla; there is no vice-versa - since Josh is murdered near the start of the story. The action takes place in Paris, and gives an insightful look into life in the run-down suburbs rather than the more chic or touristy neighbourhoods. I found it to be an engrossing read, with an oppressive atmosphere installed from the beginning which gets more intense as the tale unfolds - Josh trapped in Neïla's body, and Neïla trapped in an abusive family. Recommended for fans of imaginative, gritty dramas.
This is my final review for Mystery Thriller Week - https://mysterythrillerweek.com
Hope you were able to read some of the reviews / participate in some of the events. Still a few left, including an online awards / after party on facebook tonight -
