Tchep is a traditional Senegalese dish made with rice, tomato purée, vegetables, spices and fish (although you do get meat and vegetarian versions too). It's sold in restaurants and street stalls all over West Africa and elsewhere.

I once tasted some at a house party that tasted strangely like haggis. It's all down to the spices you use, no doubt.
