Are you the descendant of an ancient Scottish witch? Find out using this database! #thewitchslist #halloweenreads #MondayBlogs
I may be related to Agnes Cairns, who was put on trial for witchcraft in 1649. Do your own search using this fascinating new database:

A visit to the house of Jules Verne in Amiens! #JulesVerne #FridayFeeling #FridayReads

Skeleton of a factory. #thewitchslist #Paris #MondayBlogs
Who can name this rather desolate skeleton of a factory in the outskirts of Paris?
The quotation on the rusty sign on top reads:
"Tant qu'un homme pourra mourir de faim à la porte d'un palais, il n'y aura rien de stable dans les institutions humaines."
Eugène Varlin
